Our Story
Who We are
Good Steward Facility Solutions, Inc. was founded by Doug and Cynthia DeWitte, a husband-and-wife team passionate about helping business owners and churches protect their most valuable assets—their buildings and grounds.
Doug DeWitte brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.
He began as a production/facilities manager in manufacturing plants (Washington & Idaho), owned and operated DDW General Contracting, served as the on-site maintenance technician and supervisor for church facilities, and spent his final 18 years at Bonneville Power Administration assessing, managing, and maintaining mission-critical electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and life-safety systems across substations, office buildings, and industrial sites throughout Western Washington and northwest Oregon.
That same federal-level expertise — proven on some of the region’s most demanding facilities — is now available to local property owners and managers through Good Steward Facility Solutions.
We’re a new company founded in 2025, but every Good Steward service is backed by decades of real-world experience trusted by the federal government, corporations, and private owners alike.
Cynthia DeWitte, our Business Manager and Head of Customer Care, contributes years of experience in administration, customer service, and non-profit leadership. She ensures every client receives clear communication, personalized support, and seamless service from first contact to ongoing care.
Together, Doug and Cynthia saw a real need: too many business owners and church leaders are distracted by facility problems they don’t have time or expertise to solve. That’s why they launched Good Steward Facility Solutions—to let you focus on your mission while we keep your property safe, functional, and financially sound.
Tabitha Potts joins our team with a decade of experience in the commercial and residential overhead door industry. Her background includes hands-on customer service and estimation in overhead doors, complemented by years as a restaurant server where she honed her ability to anticipate and meet customer needs. Tabitha’s passion for finding solutions and building relationships makes her an invaluable partner in delivering responsive, client-focused facility care.
